Investor Funding Advice
& Grant Applications

Through the provision of specialist advice for funding and grant applications, Locum personnel have helped to generate over £1 billion in support of new destination projects from sources including the Heritage Lottery Fund, the Millennium Commission, The Arts Council of England, SportScotland, regional development agencies, the Welsh Assembly, Scottish Enterprise, banks and private sector investors.

Recent experience shows that as the competition for capital and revenue funding increases, the ability to demonstrate economic impact is an increasingly important element of the funding application process. Not only do we work to deliver economic appraisals to government standards as set out within the HM Treasury Green Book guidelines, but we also advise on the economic evaluation of non-traditional industries such as tourism, transport and the creative industry sector and the economic impact of destination development.

In the private sector, Locum can offer investment strategy advice, help identify investment opportunities, assist in the preparation of information for investors and support clients throughout the negotiation process. Locum’s profound understanding of the key drivers of investment decision-making also enables us to support public and private sector funding bodies through due diligence of funding applications.
